The Free and Open Source Software Initiative at the RIT MAGIC Center is searching for a candidate to support open source software projects with the UNICEF Innovation Fund. This position involves engaging with diverse open source start-ups from around the world working in emerging technologies. Responsibilities include working with the project teams directly to guide them in building an open source solution for their projects, communicating with fund managers at UNICEF, and representing RIT in an international context.
Candidates should have strong communication skills, an interest in computing technology (and ideally free and open source software), and a desire to work on international, humanitarian projects. Technical background is helpful but not required.
